Job Duties have varied over the last 8 years. When first hired in 1996 and for the next four years my primary responsibilities were ordering parts for all Laughlin resorts which included research and machine configuration for conversions. I was also responsible for warehouse inventories for the Laughlin office including stocking levels and reordering. This included interfacing with vendors and computer data entry and tracking. My primary duties for 1 year were field service of gaming machines and all IGT peripheral equipment. After this 1 year time period my main duties migrated to CN and IN machine updates. My responsibilities included machine research, parts order’s, scheduling, and also the actual completion of the update’s with all associated tracking paperwork and computer tracking. Through this I now have a working knowledge of all MS office applications. The usage of laptops was also necessary for programming various devices in the field. I also completed the majority of special projects that arise including assisting other departments to install various other equipment such as EZ-pay, EZ-route with EZ-safe, and IGT player tracking. I have a working knowledge of past and present IGT games and all supporting equipment. While at IGT I have completed IGT’s associate Technician courses. I have also completed an effective communication course and a Technical communication course.
