9:00 am - 12:00pm
Video slot monitors are a lot easier to fix once you know how they work. This session assumes that you have no previous knowledge of monitors. Some understanding of electronic components will be helpful but is not a prerequisite. 12:00pm - 1:30pm
1:30pm - 4:30pm
Bally will be giving a technical demo of their new M9000 cabinet and the Alpha operating system. They will also be on hand to answer questions about their other current products as well. |
9:00 am - 12:00pm
Now that we know how monitors work, let's take a look at each of the seven sections that make up a monitor. Once you understand what each of these sections does, monitor failures are easily identified. We will look at the schematic diagrams for the monitors we find in today's slot machines. Circuits and components are identified with emphasis on "what fails." Each person attending TechFest will come away with a package of schematics and troubleshooting flowcharts that will help speed monitor troubleshooting and repair in the shop. 12:00pm - 1:30pm
1:30pm - 4:30pm
Tech trainer Randall Henderson introduces us to WMS Gaming's new video slot, CPU-NXT and Bluebird system in this presentation. He will also be on hand to answer questions about their legacy systems as well. |
9:00 am - 12:00pm
Ceronix factory technical trainer Paul Alexander introduces
us to the gaming industry's most highly regarded monitor. The Ceronix monitor
is known for its sharp and pure display and its longevity. This morning's
presentation builds on what we've learned about monitors in the first two
days and introduces us to Ceronix's unique circuitry and design.
12:00pm - 1:30pm
1:30pm - 4:30pm
Troubleshooting monitors is a whole lot easier when someone with experience shows you how they work and shows you the shortcuts for repairing them. You'll get both during this afternoon's session. |
